IELS EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO HELLENIC COPYRIGHT ORGANISATION
On Friday 15/12/2023 a visit of the postgraduate students of the LLM Course International and European Legal Studies, who participate in the lesson EU Copyright Law (taught by Prof. Paraskevi Paparseniou), to the Hellenic Copyright Organisation (HCO) has taken place. During that visit the students were informed by the Legal Department of the HCO for the actions and the powers of the Organisation in the field of copyright law. Particularly the actions of the HCO for fighting piracy in Internet and the procedure of the removal or the blocking of infringing content in Internet were presented. Questions from the students and a very interesting discussion for the actions of the HCO in the online environment followed.
