As every year, the European Law School Network organises a Summer School for its students. The 2021 version of the Summer School, entitled "Markets, Governance and European Law in the Algorithmic Era", will take place in Berlin from 11 July - 17 July

After we all have spent a year studying and teaching online, we are committed to hold the summer school in person. We believe that the students deserve a memorable in-person event and don’t spare any efforts to make this possible.

However, organising an in-person event in a time were Berlin is still partly under lockdown and strict government restrictions are in place does not go without making compromises. More importantly, the health of all participants is our greatest concern and the capacities of venues are strictly limited. For that reason, only 5 students from the LL.M. in International and European Legal Studies will be able to attend the summer school this year.

The selected students will be offered accommodation in Berlin and a compensation for their travel expenses.

In view of the above, those of you who are interested in participating in the Summer School are kindly requested to send an email to Mr. Konstantinos Serdaris (kserdaris[at]law.uoa[dot]gr) the latest by Friday 11 June 2021 (17.00 pm). In case that we receive more than 5 applications, the Steering Committee will allocate the total of the positions by drawing lots among participants. Selected students will be informed accordingly by Tuesday 15 June 2021.

Considering that the dates of the summer school coincide with the second week of examinations, all selected students will exceptionally have the right to be examined in the modules taking place during this week in advance
