Students of the LL.M. Programme in International and European Legal Studies (IELS) are invited to choose the topic of their LL.M. thesis (dissertation) for the academic year 2025-2026.
The procedure will take place from 16 March 2026 to 4 April 2026. Students are kindly requested to follow the steps below:
Contact with Supervisor
Students are invited to contact the faculty member under whose supervision they wish to conduct their LL.M. thesis.
Students may choose their supervisor from the teaching staff of both LL.M. specializations.
The selection of the topic and the structure of the thesis shall be agreed upon between the supervisor and the student.
Submission of Form
Once the supervisor and the student have agreed on the topic of the dissertation, the student must complete, sign and submit the relevant form (available for download) in Word format (.doc) by email to: evoutsi@uoa.gr
Approval Procedure
Upon submission of the forms, the Steering Committee will convene in plenary session in order to approve the proposed thesis topics and appoint the members of the Academic Committee. The results will be announced on the LL.M. website using students’ registration numbers.
Please note that the final deadline for submission of the LL.M. dissertations is 30 September 2026.
